ST. GEORGE, Utah — In an exciting matchup on Thursday, Noa Gonsalves led Utah Tech to a narrow victory over South Dakota, securing a final score of 92-87. Gonsalves was instrumental in the win, contributing 22 points to his team’s effort.
Demonstrating impressive shooting skills, Gonsalves finished the game with a shooting percentage of 46% from the field, including a remarkable 54% from beyond the arc, netting 6 out of 11 three-point attempts. Additionally, he was a perfect 4 for 4 from the charity stripe. Beon Riley also made a significant impact for the Trailblazers with his 21 points, shooting 7 of 11 from the field, while capitalizing on 6 of 9 opportunities from the free-throw line, and pulling down 14 rebounds.
