SAN ANTONIO — Incarnate Word triumphed over Division-III Schreiner with an impressive score of 101-57 on Thursday night, thanks in large part to Davion Bailey’s standout performance.

Bailey dominated the game, scoring 33 points and contributing three steals, helping the Cardinals improve their record to 7-5 overall and 1-1 in the Southland Conference.

Alongside Bailey, Dylan Hayman made a significant impact with 13 points, showcasing his shooting skills by hitting 5 of 11 attempts from the field and converting all three of his free throw attempts. He also grabbed five rebounds during the matchup.

Jordan Pyke added to the offensive barrage with 12 points, connecting on 6 of 10 shots from the floor.

On the other side, Beau Cervantes emerged as the leading scorer for Schreiner, finishing the game with 15 points. Kamden Ross and Charley Reado each contributed eight points for the Mountaineers, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Incarnate Word.

The game showcased the Cardinals’ offensive prowess, as they secured their first Southland Conference victory amidst a strong showing on both ends of the court.
