Loyola Chicago secured a victory against Canisius with a 72-60 scoreline on Wednesday night, highlighted by Sheldon Edwards’ impressive performance, in which he notched 22 points.
Edwards demonstrated his shooting precision, going 8 for 15 overall and hitting 6 of his 13 attempts from three-point range, contributing significantly to the Ramblers’ record of 9 wins and only 1 loss this season.
Alongside him, Des Watson added 15 points, shooting 6 for 15 from the field, which included 3 successful shots from beyond the three-point line, and he also contributed 6 assists.
Jalen Quinn rounded out the scoring for Loyola with 10 points, completing the game with a shooting accuracy of 4 out of 10.
On the opposing side, the Golden Griffins struggled for their first victory, falling to a disappointing 0-12 for the season.
