DENTON, Texas — In a commanding performance, Brenen Lorient contributed 16 points off the bench, leading North Texas to an impressive 83-42 win over Mississippi Valley State on Wednesday evening.

Lorient showcased his scoring ability by making 6 of 7 attempts from the floor and hitting all 4 of his free-throw attempts. His efforts were complemented by Atin Wright, who added 15 points on a solid shooting night, going 5 for 8 overall, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc.
