DENTON, Texas — In a commanding performance, Brenen Lorient contributed 16 points off the bench, leading North Texas to an impressive 83-42 win over Mississippi Valley State on Wednesday evening.

Lorient showcased his scoring ability by making 6 of 7 attempts from the floor and hitting all 4 of his free-throw attempts. His efforts were complemented by Atin Wright, who added 15 points on a solid shooting night, going 5 for 8 overall, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc. Johnathan Massie also made his presence felt, finishing with 12 points after shooting 3 of 4 from the field and converting 5 of 6 from the free-throw line.

For the Delta Devils, Arthur Tate stood out as the top scorer with 15 points. Additionally, Antonio Sisk contributed nine points along with four assists and two steals. Alvin Stredic Jr. also had a noteworthy night, adding eight points and two steals to the team’s efforts.
