MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — In a standout performance, Camryn Weston came off the bench to deliver a career-best 30 points, propelling Middle Tennessee to a 75-64 victory against Cal Baptist on Monday evening.
Weston showcased impressive shooting skills, hitting 9 of 17 shots, including three successful 3-pointers, and converting 9 of 11 free throws. He also contributed five rebounds for the Blue Raiders, who improved their record to 8-3. Jlynn Counter supported the team’s success with 12 points and six rebounds, while Kamari Lands added another 10 points to the scoreboard.
On the opposing side, the Lancers, now 5-6, were led by Dominique Daniels Jr., who scored 20 points. Javonte Johnson contributed 14 points, and AJ Braun chipped in with 10 points to round out the team’s performance.
