SAN ANTONIO — In an impressive display, the Incarnate Word Cardinals triumphed over Our Lady of the Lake with a definitive score of 93-69 on Sunday night.
Dylan Hayman proved to be a standout performer for the Cardinals, contributing 23 points along with five rebounds to help secure the victory.
Davion Bailey also made a significant impact, hitting 6 of 11 shots, including 6 of 10 from three-point territory, while also converting 4 of 5 free throws to finish with 22 points.
Additionally, Harrison Reede added to the Cardinals’ offensive efforts with 14 points, showing notable accuracy by making 4 out of 8 three-point attempts and 2 of 3 from the charity stripe.
For Our Lady of the Lake, Daniel Smith was the leading scorer, netting 13 points in the matchup. The NAIA team also saw contributions from Arthur Celestin and Tommie Law, who both added 11 points each to the scoreboard.
The victory improves Incarnate Word’s record to 6-5 as they continue their season, showcasing a strong performance against their opponents.
