Ryan Rapp tallies 19 points as Hawaii defeats Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 71-62

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors secured a 71-62 victory against the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders on Saturday night, with Ryan Rapp leading the charge by scoring 19 points.
Rapp showcased his shooting skills by making 7 of 8 shots from the field, including an impressive 5 for 5 from beyond the arc, contributing significantly to Hawaii’s overall performance as they improved to a 6-3 record.

In addition to Rapp’s standout performance, Marcus Green added 15 points, shooting 4 of 10 from the field and going a perfect 6 for 6 from the free-throw line.
Gytis Nemeiksa also had a solid outing, chipping in 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting, helping to solidify Hawaii’s offensive strength.

On the other side, Garry Clark and Shilo Jackson each scored 11 points for the Islanders, who now stand at 6-5.
Clark was efficient with 5 of 6 from the floor, while Jackson matched him with great shooting, also collecting six rebounds along with his scoring.

The turning point came just 34 seconds into the second half when Kody Williams drained a 3-pointer, putting the Rainbow Warriors ahead 31-28 and establishing a lead they would maintain throughout the remainder of the game.
