UNLV defeats Pacific with a score of 72-65

LAS VEGAS — On Saturday, UNLV secured a victory against Pacific with a final score of 72-65, largely thanks to Julian Rishwain’s impressive performance, scoring 21 points.
Rishwain was highly efficient, making 7 out of 11 shots, including 5 of 7 from beyond the arc. He played a key role for the Rebels (5-4), while Dedan Thomas Jr. contributed 16 points, going 7 for 16 from the field, and also recorded five assists. Additionally, Jaden Henley added 11 points, shooting 2 of 5 from the field and going 6 for 8 at the free-throw line.

On the other side, the Tigers (5-7) were led by Elias Ralph, who had a solid outing with 19 points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. Elijah Fisher chipped in 13 points, with Jazz Gardner adding 12 points to the scoreboard.

UNLV took a slight lead into halftime, up 34-29, with Henley being their top scorer at the break with seven points. In the second half, Rishwain stepped up significantly, contributing 16 points to help extend UNLV’s lead and secure the seven-point win.
