RENO, Nev. — In an impressive display of offensive prowess, Xavier Dusell recorded 25 points, leading Nevada to a decisive 105-73 victory over Texas Southern on Saturday evening.
Dusell was notably effective, hitting 8 of 12 attempts from the floor, including a remarkable 7 for 11 from three-point range. The Wolf Pack, now boasting an 8-3 record, saw strong contributions from Nick Davidson, who netted 21 points with a shooting performance that included 7 for 10 from the field and 3 for 6 from beyond the arc. Davidson also excelled in other areas, gathering five rebounds and distributing seven assists. Meanwhile, Kobe Sanders contributed 18 points, shooting 5 of 9 overall, with 2 for 5 from three-point territory, and was an impressive 6 for 7 from the line.
The Tigers, struggling in the season with a record of 1-8, found their top scorer in Zaire Hayes, who finished with 16 points. Teammate Kavion McClain added 13 points along with four assists, while Kenny Hunter rounded out the scoring for Texas Southern with eight points and seven rebounds.
