Quarterback Jackson Arnold has made the decision to transfer to Auburn following two seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners.
During his time at Oklahoma, Arnold demonstrated his talent by participating in nine games this past season, amassing 1,421 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and three interceptions. Additionally, he recorded impressive rushing stats with 444 yards on the ground and three touchdowns, including a standout performance where he rushed for a career-best 131 yards in Oklahoma’s 24-3 victory over then-ranked No. 7 Alabama in November.
Auburn’s head coach, Hugh Freeze, has expressed great enthusiasm about Arnold’s addition to the team, stating, “The fit he is for our offense and for Auburn, I couldn’t be more excited. He’s a dual-threat guy who understands the RPO system extremely well and throws the deep ball exceptionally well.”
In other college football news, tight end Tanner Koziol has announced via social media that he is committing to the University of Wisconsin. Koziol had a standout season at Ball State, where he caught 94 passes totaling 839 yards and scored eight touchdowns.
This transfer season continues to create buzz as teams seek to strengthen their rosters ahead of the upcoming season.
