A draw was conducted on Friday by FIFA to determine the groups for the European qualifying rounds for the 2026 World Cup.

In Group A, either Germany or Italy, depending on who wins the Nations League quarterfinal, will compete alongside Slovakia, Northern Ireland, and Luxembourg.

Group B features Switzerland, Sweden, Slovenia, and Kosovo, showcasing a mix of competitive teams.

Group C will include the loser of the Nations League quarterfinal between Portugal and Denmark, in addition to Greece, Scotland, and Belarus.

In Group D, the winner of the Nations League quarterfinal between France and Croatia will join Ukraine, Iceland, and Azerbaijan.

Moving to Group E, the group consists of either Spain or the Netherlands, who will compete against Turkey, Georgia, and Bulgaria.

Group F will see the winner of the Nations League quarterfinal between Portugal and Denmark playing against Hungary, Ireland, and Armenia.

Group G will feature the loser of the encounter between Spain and the Netherlands, along with Poland, Finland, Lithuania, and Malta.

In Group H, teams include Austria, Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cyprus, and San Marino, all aiming for a chance at qualification.

Group I is made up of the loser of the Nations League quarterfinal between Germany and Italy, facing Norway, Israel, Estonia, and Moldova.

In Group J, Belgium leads a group that includes Wales, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, and Liechtenstein.

Group K features England, Serbia, Albania, Latvia, and Andorra, while Group L includes the loser of the Nations League quarterfinal between France and Croatia, paired with the Czech Republic, Montenegro, the Faroe Islands, and Gibraltar.

This draw sets the stage for an exciting qualification process as teams aim to secure a spot in the prestigious tournament.
