Burbank, California — James Kennedy, known for his role in “Vanderpump Rules,” was taken into custody on allegations of misdemeanor domestic violence, as confirmed by law enforcement on Thursday.

Officers in Burbank responded to a call about a dispute between a man and a woman around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Burbank Police Sergeant Stephen Turner. Upon their arrival, the investigation revealed that the incident involved Kennedy, who is 32 years old and legally named James Kennedy Georgiou, and a woman whose identity has not been made public.

Following the inquiry, Kennedy was arrested and later released after paying bail. The decision regarding potential charges will be made by the Burbank city attorney.

Attempts to obtain a comment from Kennedy’s representative have not been fruitful thus far.

Originally from London, Kennedy has been a prominent figure on “Vanderpump Rules,” a reality television series aired on Bravo and Peacock, which chronicles the experiences of employees at the upscale dining establishments owned by Lisa Vanderpump, a former cast member of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The show is preparing for a reboot with an entirely new cast for its upcoming twelfth season.

Kennedy made his first appearance on the show during the second season, where he was introduced as the romantic partner of cast member Kristen Doute. According to his biography on Bravo, he currently resides with his girlfriend and co-star, Ally Lewber.
