In a competitive matchup on Wednesday evening, UMass-Lowell emerged victorious over Long Island, with a final score of 69-62. Quinton Mincey played a pivotal role in this win, contributing 20 points to the River Hawks’ cause.

Mincey had a notable shooting performance, connecting on 6 of 17 attempts, including 4 of 8 from beyond the arc, and he was perfect from the charity stripe, making all four of his free throws. Supporting him in the effort was Max Brooks, who tallied 18 points, shooting an impressive 7 of 9 from the field and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line. In addition, Brooks made an impact on the boards with nine rebounds and showcased his defensive abilities by blocking eight shots.
