COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The 2026 Pan Pacific Championships are set to take place in Irvine, California, showcasing swimmers from the United States, Australia, Canada, and Japan. This major event will occur prior to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, drawing significant attention from the international swimming community.

Conducted every four years, the prestigious meet alternates among the four participating nations. USA Swimming revealed on Monday that elite athletes from each of these countries will compete alongside top swimmers from all non-European nations from August 12-15 at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center in Irvine.

This event marks the first occasion since 2010 that the U.S. will host the championships, which were previously held in the same location that year. The upcoming 2026 championships will also incorporate the 10-kilometer open water championships, with the specific venue and date for that segment set to be announced in the future.
