The Minnesota Timberwolves’ guard, Anthony Edwards, has been issued a fine of $25,000 for his use of inappropriate language during a press conference, as revealed by the NBA on Monday.
His remarks came in the aftermath of the Timberwolves’ 107-90 victory against the Golden State Warriors on December 6.
Edwards, who has earned All-Star honors twice, is currently posting impressive statistics this season, averaging 26.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game. The Timberwolves have started their season with a record of 12 wins and 11 losses, following their appearance in the Western Conference Finals last year.
