RADFORD, Va. – On Sunday night, Jarvis Moss contributed 15 points and Jonas Sirtautas executed a crucial three-point play in overtime, leading Radford to a 74-70 victory over Bucknell.
Sirtautas secured the Highlanders’ lead for good with just 2:38 remaining in the extended play.
Moss had a shooting night of 4 for 13 from the field, including 2 for 7 from beyond the arc, and successfully converted 5 of 6 free throws for Radford (9-2). Josiah Harris added to the team’s efforts with 12 points and five rebounds.
On the other hand, Achile Spadone was the standout performer for the Bison (4-7), netting 22 points and making two steals. Bucknell also saw Josh Bascoe scoring 19 points with four assists, while Noah Williamson chipped in with nine points.
A layup by Bascoe in the final 12 seconds of the game tied the score at 59, forcing the contest into overtime.
