SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Santa Clara Broncos achieved a solid victory over the Fresno State Bulldogs with a score of 81-66 on Saturday evening.
Carlos Stewart was a standout for the Broncos, contributing 18 points through an efficient performance that included five successful field goals out of eight attempts, along with three out of four from beyond the arc and five out of six from the charity stripe. Tyeree Bryan also made an impact, recording 16 points, pulling down six rebounds, and clinching five steals. Additionally, Christoph Tilly chipped in with 14 points.
On the opposing side, the Bulldogs, now sitting at 3-6, were led by Zaon Collins, who posted 17 points alongside six assists and four steals. Mykell Robinson supported the effort with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Alex Crawford contributed 13 points along with three steals.
The Broncos took control of the game with 7:03 remaining in the first half and maintained their advantage throughout. By halftime, the score stood at 36-25, highlighted by Bryan’s nine-point contribution.
