PHILADELPHIA — In an impressive outing, Cole Hargrove played a pivotal role in Drexel’s victory over Pennsylvania with a total of 17 points, leading the team to a 60-47 win on Saturday.
Hargrove also made significant contributions on the boards, recording 13 rebounds, in addition to blocking three shots for the Dragons, who improved their season record to 6-4. Meanwhile, Kobe Magee added 12 points to the team’s total, shooting 4-for-12 from the field (including 0-for-3 from beyond the arc) and converting all four of his free-throw attempts. Yame Butler also had a solid game, scoring 10 points with an efficient shooting line of 4-for-7, including going 2-for-4 from the charity stripe.

For the Quakers, Nick Spinoso was the standout performer, finishing the game with 21 points, seven rebounds, and two steals. His efforts kept Pennsylvania competitive, though they ultimately fell short, bringing their record to 3-6. Ethan Roberts contributed 11 points for the Quakers, while Sam Brown rounded out the scoring with eight points.

In the first half, Hargrove led the Dragons with six points, which was not enough to separate the teams, as they entered halftime tied at 30-30. However, in the second half, Drexel surged ahead, establishing a 10-point lead fueled by a dominant 16-2 run. Hargrove continued to excel, leading Drexel’s scoring efforts in the second half with an additional 11 points, solidifying their victory.
