    HIGH POINT, N.C. — In a thrilling matchup on Friday evening, High Point secured a 76-71 win against North Texas, with Kimani Hamilton playing a pivotal role by scoring 19 points and grabbing six rebounds for the Panthers, who improved to a 9-2 record.

    D’Maurian Williams also made a significant impact, contributing 17 points with an impressive shooting performance, hitting 6 of 9 from the field, including 4 for 6 from three-point range. Simon Hildebrandt added 11 points to the team’s total, showcasing a well-rounded effort from High Point.

    For the Mean Green, who now hold a 6-3 record, Latrell Jossell was the standout player, leading his team with 21 points and securing two steals. Brenen Lorient followed closely behind with 20 points, along with two steals and two blocks, while Atin Wright chipped in 10 points.
