Celta Vigo returned to form with a solid 2-0 victory over Mallorca in La Liga, marking the end of a winless streak that lasted a month. The match, held at Celta’s home ground, featured goals from Hugo Álvarez and Iago Aspas, securing three important points for the team.

Mallorca entered the game looking to secure their position in sixth place on the league table. Despite creating several promising opportunities early on, the visitors were unable to find the net, largely due to the stellar performance of Celta’s goalkeeper, Vicente Guaita.

Celta took the lead in the 32nd minute when Álvarez found the back of the net.
