WASHINGTON — Melania Trump, poised to become the first lady for the second time, shared on Friday how this upcoming transition into the White House differs significantly from her first experience. This time around, she and her husband are more prepared and aware of what lies ahead.

“In this new journey, we have a better understanding of what needs to be established and the type of individuals that should be brought into our team,” she commented during a rare guest appearance on “Fox & Friends.” Melania showcased some holiday ornaments she’s currently selling along with her memoir as the festive season approaches.

With a sense of urgency, she noted that the pace of preparations has been swift as Donald Trump begins to form his administration. “It’s truly remarkable, and we have a lot on our plates,” she remarked, mentioning that packing is in progress to ensure an effective start on Day 1.

Reflecting on her husband’s attitude following his 2024 victory, she observed a shift from his previous win in 2016. “The nation and its citizens have strongly supported him,” she stated, adding that this time the energy feels different, and the dynamics among his supporters have evolved as well.

Melania also praised their 18-year-old son, Barron, highlighting his influence in helping his father connect with the electorate that secured his presidency. “He has matured into a young man, and I take great pride in his insight, particularly in political matters,” she expressed. “He has introduced his father to many young people and understands his own generation.”

Talking about her memoir, she described the writing experience as a deeply personal journey, filled with moments that were both uplifting and challenging. “At times, it has been a joyous process, but it also brought moments of trauma and difficulty,” she shared.
