MISSOULA, Mont. — In a closely contested game on Wednesday evening, Malik Moore led the Montana Grizzlies to a 71-67 win over the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, contributing 16 points to the team’s success.
Moore shot 7 of 13 from the field, including a 2 for 7 performance from three-point range, helping his team improve to a record of 6-3 for the season.
Austin Patterson also made a notable contribution, scoring 13 points on 5 of 7 shooting, with a strong 3 for 5 from long distance. Brandon Whitney rounded out the scoring for Montana with a solid outing, finishing with 12 points after hitting 5 of his 7 shot attempts.
On the other side of the court, the Jackrabbits, who now hold a record of 7-3, were led by Matthew Mors, who delivered a commendable performance with 14 points, nine rebounds, and two steals.
Damon Wilkinson also had an impactful night, adding 14 points along with seven rebounds, while Joe Sayler contributed to the team’s efforts by scoring 11 points.
