WICHITA, Kan. — In a decisive matchup, Quincy Ballard delivered an impressive performance for Wichita State, contributing 14 points, securing 14 rebounds, and blocking three shots to lead his team to a 78-54 victory over Alcorn State on Wednesday evening.

AJ McGinnis also made a significant impact, nailing four three-pointers to add another 14 points to the scoreboard for the Shockers (7-1). Corey Washington contributed to the offensive efforts by finishing the game with 10 points.

On the opposing side, the Braves (0-10) saw Omari Hamilton leading their scoring with 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
