In an exciting matchup on Wednesday night, Issac McBride played a pivotal role in Oral Roberts’ 83-76 victory over Northern Arizona, registering an impressive 28 points.
McBride had an efficient night on the court, converting 6 of 12 attempts from the floor, including 4 of his 6 shots from behind the arc, and impressively, he sank all 12 of his free-throw attempts. His performance was crucial for the Golden Eagles, who now hold a record of 3-6. Supporting him in the effort, Sam Alajiki contributed 15 points, making 4 of 10 from the field and hitting 2 of 7 from three-point territory while also gathering six rebounds. Jalen Miller added to the offensive output with 14 points, shooting 4 for 6 overall and knocking down 3 of 4 from the free-throw line.
On the other side of the court, the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, now with a 6-3 record, were spearheaded by Trenton McLaughlin, who put up 24 points alongside six rebounds.
