    CHARLOTTE, N.C. โ€” In an impressive display of teamwork, Isaiah Folkes played a pivotal role in leading the Charlotte 49ers to an 83-61 victory over Livingstone on Wednesday night, pouring in 13 points off the bench.
    Folkes also contributed significantly on the boards, securing seven rebounds for the 49ers, who now hold a record of 4-3. Nik Graves matched Folkesโ€™ point total, finishing with 13 points while shooting 5 of 11 from the floor (including 1 for 5 from beyond the three-point line) and providing five assists. Dean Reiber complemented the scoring with 11 points, hitting 4 of 7 shots, including 2 for 3 from three-point range.
    On the opposing side, Jamal Cannady Jr. shined for the Blue Bears, leading all scorers with 21 points, while Paul Tako added another 11 points to the teamโ€™s total.
    Charlotte held a narrow 39-32 advantage at halftime, with Robert Braswell contributing 10 points before the break. The 49ers maintained their momentum in the second half, increasing their lead to 65-51, thanks to an efficient 8-0 scoring run. Rich Rolf stepped up during this period, scoring a team-high seven points in the second half to help seal the win.
