LEWISBURG, Pa. — On Wednesday night, St. Bonaventure showcased a strong performance against Bucknell, securing a victory with a score of 64-47, fueled in part by Chance Moore’s impressive 17-point output.
Moore also made significant contributions on the boards, collecting six rebounds for the Bonnies (8-1). Accompanying him in scoring, Noel Brown totaled 14 points, efficiently shooting 6 of 10 from the field and hitting 2 of 3 from the free-throw line. Dasonte Bowen added to the offensive effort with 11 points, shooting 4 of 8 overall.
Meanwhile, Bucknell (4-6) struggled to keep pace, with Achile Spadone leading the Bison in scoring with nine points, complemented by two blocks. Pip Ajayi also had a notable performance, recording seven points along with nine rebounds and two blocks for the team.
Moore was particularly effective in the first half, scoring 15 points and helping St. Bonaventure establish a commanding lead of 38-16 at halftime. The Bonnies continued to build on their lead in the second half, initiating a decisive 12-2 run that stretched their advantage to 31 points. Bowen emerged as a key player in the latter part of the game, scoring seven points and contributing to the team’s momentum.
