PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns will be without forward Kevin Durant for a minimum of one week after he suffered a sprained left ankle during a matchup against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night.

The team provided an update on the injury on Wednesday, stating that Durant will be re-evaluated in one week to assess his recovery.

Durant sustained the injury while driving toward the basket late in the second quarter of the Suns’ 104-93 victory. Although he initially continued to play for a brief period, he eventually left the game, wrapping up with 13 points.

Earlier this season, the 14-time All-Star had already missed about two weeks due to a strained left calf. At 36 years old, Durant is currently averaging 25.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game this season.
