Boise, Idaho – In an impressive showing, Tyson Degenhart scored 21 points, leading Boise State to a solid 87-64 victory over Utah Tech on Tuesday evening.
Degenhart also contributed six rebounds for the Broncos, who improved their record to 6-2. Andrew Meadow made a significant impact, adding 14 points along with eight rebounds, while Dylan Anderson contributed 14 points as well, going 5 of 11 from the field and sinking 4 of 5 from the free-throw line.
On the other side, Justin Bieker and Noa Gonsalves each netted 10 points for the Trailblazers, who now stand at 2-8 for the season.
Boise State seized control early, taking the lead with 18:22 remaining in the first half, a lead they maintained throughout the game. Degenhart was particularly effective in the first half, scoring 15 points and helping Boise State establish a 48-31 advantage by halftime.
In the second half, the Broncos increased their lead, going on an impressive 14-2 run that pushed their margin from 17 points to an astonishing 29 points. The team continued to dominate, outpacing Utah Tech by six points in the latter half, with Anderson emerging as the leading scorer for Boise State during this period, contributing 10 points.
