CEDAR CITY, Utah — In an impressive display of basketball, Southern Utah triumphed over Park (AZ) with a decisive score of 90-55 on Tuesday evening.
JT Langston Jr. was a key player for the Thunderbirds, contributing 14 points along with seven rebounds to help secure the victory. Hercy Miller followed closely, adding 13 points while showcasing an efficient shooting performance, connecting on 4 of 6 attempts from the field and going 4 for 5 at the charity stripe.
Jamir Simpson also made a solid impact, finishing the game with 12 points after hitting 5 of 12 from the floor and making 1 of 3 from beyond the arc.
For the Buccaneers, Tanner Pate emerged as the standout scorer, leading his team with 21 points and dishing out five assists. Latrell Jones contributed significantly as well, putting up 13 points and recording three blocks for Park, an NAIA institution.
Additionally, Caleb Geisendorfer played a crucial role on the boards, tallying seven points and a notable 10 rebounds throughout the contest.
