    TEMPE, Ariz. โ€” Arizona State University showcased a dominant performance on Tuesday night, overwhelming San Diego with a score of 90-53, thanks to impressive contributions from Joson Sanon and Basheer Jihad, who each racked up 19 points.
     

    The Sun Devils (8-1) found themselves in an early predicament, trailing by as much as 12 points. However, they quickly regrouped and initiated a potent 10-0 run that allowed them to take the lead by seven points at halftime. In the second half, Arizona State continued their momentum, executing a staggering 19-1 run that solidified their victory and marked the teamโ€™s sixth consecutive win as they prepare to enter Big 12 play.

    Freshman standout Jayden Quaintance contributed significantly to the teamโ€™s success with an impressive stat line of 10 points, nine rebounds, and five blocked shots. Sanon proved to be a reliable asset coming off the bench, converting 5 of 8 from beyond the arc.

    On the other side, San Diego (3-5) saw Kjay Bradley score 15 points, while Santiago Trouet added another 10. The Torrerosโ€™ shooting struggles were evident as they managed only 2 of 19 from the three-point range, failing to convert any of their ten attempts in the second half.
