EASTON, Pa. — In a thrilling matchup on Sunday, Binghamton secured a narrow victory over Lafayette with a final score of 82-81 after an intense overtime battle. Tymu Chenery led the Bearcats with an impressive 21 points and also grabbed 11 rebounds, showcasing his significant impact on the game.
Ben Callahan-Gold proved to be instrumental down the stretch, contributing three crucial points in overtime. He shot remarkably well throughout the game, finishing with 17 points—including an impressive performance from three-point range with five successful shots out of seven attempts. Chris Walker also had a solid outing, scoring 20 points and grabbing eight rebounds for the Bearcats, who now hold a record of 4-6.
On the other side, Alex Chaikin was the top scorer for the Leopards, netting 16 points.
