NEW YORK — On Sunday, Fordham secured an impressive victory against New Hampshire, winning 83-61, with Jackie Johnson III contributing a notable 16 points to the scoreline.

Johnson demonstrated an effective shooting performance, making 6 of 14 attempts from the field, including 4 for 9 from beyond the arc. The Rams, now sitting at a record of 4-5, had additional support from Japhet Medor, who added 12 points, complemented by a perfect 6 for 6 from the free-throw line along with six rebounds and three steals. Josh Rivera also made valuable contributions by scoring 10 points, hitting 4 of 9 attempts from the field.

For the Wildcats, who currently hold a record of 2-9, Anthony McComb III was the standout player, finishing the game with 20 points, nine rebounds, and three steals. Sami Pissis contributed 10 points and added two steals, while Jon O’Neill chipped in with six points.

The Rams quickly established a lead that they maintained throughout the match, taking the upper hand just 15 seconds into the first half. By halftime, Fordham had extended their lead to a commanding 39-22, with Johnson leading the scoring with nine points at that juncture. In the second half, Fordham initiated a 9-0 scoring run to stretch their advantage to as much as 25 points. They concluded the final half outscoring New Hampshire by five points, with Medor contributing a team-high of eight points during the second period.

Looking ahead, Fordham will face Fairleigh Dickinson in their next matchup at home on Wednesday, while New Hampshire gears up to host Dartmouth on Tuesday.
