Georgetown achieved an impressive victory over Albany (NY) on Saturday night, dominating the game with a final score of 100-68.
Micah Peavy was a standout performer for the Hoyas, scoring 24 points and contributing significantly with eight assists, four steals, and three blocks.
Alongside Peavy, Malik Mack showcased his shooting prowess, scoring 16 points while hitting six of his eight shots, including three for four from three-point range.
Thomas Sorber also made a notable impact, adding 14 points to the scoreboard by shooting six of nine from the floor.
For Albany, Amar’e Marshall was the leading scorer with 17 points, complemented by four steals.
Kheni Briggs matched Marshall’s scoring effort, also finishing with 17 points, while Justin Neely contributed with 12 points.
Georgetown took control of the game with 9:05 remaining in the first half and maintained the lead for the remainder of the match. By halftime, the Hoyas were ahead 49-35, with Peavy already tallying 17 points at that stage.
