LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Black Friday, a shooting incident at Park Plaza mall resulted in three individuals sustaining injuries, according to local authorities.
The Little Rock police categorized the event as an isolated occurrence, dispelling initial concerns that there was an active shooter on the premises. During a press briefing that took place in the afternoon, Police Chief Heath Helton shared that officers at the scene discovered one person injured, while two additional victims sought treatment at a nearby hospital later on. Fortunately, none of the injuries were deemed life-threatening.
In a statement, Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr. indicated that two suspects were involved in the shooting; however, there were no immediate reports of any arrests being made in connection with the incident.
