TROY, Ala. — In an exciting matchup, Merrimack emerged victorious over Troy with a final score of 72-68 on Friday, largely thanks to the impressive performance of Devon Savage, who netted 23 points.

Savage had an outstanding shooting night, completing 8 of 10 attempts from the floor, including a remarkable 7 for 9 from beyond the arc. He was joined by Adam Clark, who contributed significantly with 20 points and showcased his versatility with nine successful shots out of 14 attempts, as well as providing seven assists and grabbing three steals. The Warriors’ Matt Becht also made a noteworthy contribution, scoring 12 points with a shooting record of 4 for 9, including 2 from 7 in three-point attempts.
