MONTGOMERY, Ala. — In a thrilling showdown at the Turkey Day Classic, Kareem Keye showcased his impressive skills by completing 12 of 18 passes for a remarkable 331 yards and four touchdowns, leading Alabama State to a decisive 34-6 victory over Tuskegee on Thursday.

Robert McMinn had a standout performance, hauling in four receptions for 152 yards, which included touchdown catches of 73 and 63 yards. The game kicked off with Keye connecting with Jalen Jones for a quick 45-yard touchdown, setting the tone for Alabama State’s dominant start. After McMinn’s long score and Ajai Harrell’s pivotal 36-yard punt return placing Alabama State deep in Tuskegee territory, Eric Horn secured a 20-yard touchdown reception from Keye, extending the lead to 21-0 with just under 6 minutes remaining in the first quarter.

Tuskegee’s Lorcan Ryans attempted to narrow the gap by nailing two field goals, one from 30 yards right before the end of the first quarter and another from 47 yards to make it 21-6 with 7:04 to play in the second quarter. However, Keye was quick to respond, throwing to McMinn for a stunning 63-yard touchdown just a minute later, further solidifying Alabama State’s advantage.

The scoring concluded with Brandon Gilliam contributing two field goals of 42 yards each during the third quarter, finalizing the score at 34-6.

On the other side, Johnny Morris led Tuskegee with 88 rushing yards, carrying the ball 17 times, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Alabama State’s explosive offense.
