JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — In an exciting matchup on Thursday, Rhode Island secured an 83-78 victory over UT Arlington, with Jamarques Lawrence leading the charge with 18 points.

In addition to his scoring prowess, Lawrence also made significant contributions on the boards with five rebounds and facilitated the offense with seven assists, helping the Rams improve to a perfect 7-0 this season. Alongside him, Sebastian Thomas also posted 18 points and showcased his defensive skills with three steals. David Green had a solid performance as well, hitting 5 of 10 shots from the field, including 3 for 6 from beyond the arc, contributing a total of 15 points.

For the Mavericks, Jaden Wells matched Lawrence’s scoring output with 18 points and added nine rebounds and two steals to his stat line.
