LIVERPOOL, England — In a recent Champions League encounter against Liverpool, Real Madrid’s midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga, sustained an injury that led to his substitution in the second half.
The French player seemed to experience a sudden issue while pursuing the ball, resulting in him hitting the ground.
Following this incident, the medical team from Madrid attended to him briefly before signaling to the bench for a substitution.
Dani Ceballos replaced him in the 57th minute during the match held at Anfield.
Although Camavinga managed to walk off the pitch, he appeared to be limping as he headed towards the locker room.
At just 22 years of age, Camavinga dealt with knee injuries in the previous season, which sidelined him for significant portions of the campaign.
The specifics of his latest injury remain uncertain at this point.
