ESTERO, Fla. — Daniel Batcho led the way for Louisiana Tech with a stellar performance, scoring 19 points in their 78-69 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Wednesday evening.
Batcho also contributed significantly on the boards, grabbing eight rebounds, helping to secure a strong overall game for the Bulldogs, who improved their record to 7-0.
Amaree Abram supported Batcho with 14 points, showcasing his shooting skills by hitting 5 of 11 field goals, which included 1 of 3 from beyond the arc, and he was perfect from the free-throw line, going 3 for 3, while also pulling down eight rebounds.
Al Green added to the offensive effort with 12 points, shooting 4 of 9 from the field and converting 3 of 4 free throws, though he struggled a bit with his three-point shooting, going just 1 for 5.
With this victory, Louisiana Tech maintained its impressive seven-game winning streak, demonstrating their powerful start to the season.
For the Colonels (4-3), George Kimble III was the top scorer, finishing the match with 21 points. Devontae Blanton also made a notable contribution, recording 17 points along with five assists.
Jordan Crawford rounded out the scoring for Eastern Kentucky with nine points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Bulldogs in this competitive matchup.
