In addition to his scoring, Reynolds demonstrated versatility on both ends of the court, contributing four steals and four blocks for the Hawks, who improved their record to 5-2. Dasear Haskins was another key contributor, shooting 6 for 8 from the field, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc, to secure 15 points. Xzayvier Brown also added to the team’s success with 10 points, making 4 of 9 attempts from the field, with 2 of those coming from three-point range.
For Coppin State, who dropped to 0-8 on the season, Peter Oduro emerged as a standout player, finishing the game with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds. Khali Horton supported the efforts with nine points, while Camaren Sparrow chipped in with seven points and six rebounds. Unfortunately for the Eagles, this latest defeat marks their eighth consecutive loss, highlighting the ongoing challenges they face this season.
