In a decisive performance, Keaston Willis contributed 15 points off the bench as Tulsa triumphed over Detroit Mercy with a score of 63-44 on Tuesday.

Willis’ shooting performance included three successful three-pointers out of nine attempts and he was effective from the free-throw line, making six out of seven attempts. For the Golden Hurricane, who are now 4-3 for the season, Isaiah Barnes also made a significant impact by scoring 12 points, hitting four of his nine shots, which included a commendable four of six from long range, along with seven rebounds. Additionally, Dwon Odom added 11 points while displaying an efficient shooting percentage of 62.5% by making five of his eight shots.

On the Titans’ side, who have a record of 3-4, Jared Lary emerged as the top scorer with 12 points and recorded two steals in the game.

At halftime, Tulsa held a 36-27 advantage, with Willis contributing nine points to the score. In the second half, Tulsa continued to build on their lead, reaching a high of 54-35, aided by a 9-2 scoring run that showcased their strong performance.
