The final moments of the game saw Scooter Williams Jr. score a layup, granting East Texas A&M a slim two-point advantage with just 13 seconds left on the clock. Following this, Todd Bogna was fouled and calmly converted both of his free-throw attempts to tie the game 65-65 with a mere 2.2 seconds left. In a crucial turn of events, Stinson intercepted the ball under pressure, was fouled, and subsequently made the go-ahead free throws, sealing the win for Stonehill.
Morgan was impressive on the court, completing 6 of 13 attempts overall and hitting 4 of 8 from beyond the arc, along with a perfect 4 for 4 from the charity stripe for the Skyhawks, who now hold a record of 4-4.
