In a thrilling encounter on Monday evening, the Buffalo Bulls triumphed over N.C. A&T with a narrow score of 82-81 thanks to a standout performance from Ryan Sabol, who contributed 22 points to his team’s victory.

The game took a pivotal turn in the closing moments when Tyson Dunn sank two crucial free throws with just six seconds left on the clock. Prior to that, Dunn had already brought the Bulls within a point by hitting a 3-pointer with 17 seconds remaining. Although Jahnathan Lamothe of N.C. A&T found himself at the foul line, he missed the first attempt of a 1-and-1 situation. This error allowed Noah Batchelor to grab the rebound, setting the stage for Dunn’s decisive free throw performance.

As the game approached its conclusion, Landon Glasper had a chance to secure the win for the Aggies with a last-second 3-point shot, but it fell short. Batchelor’s rebound confirmed Buffalo’s hard-fought victory.

Sabol was efficient offensively, connecting on 7 of 13 attempts from the field, including 3 out of 6 from beyond the arc, and he excelled at the free-throw line, going 5 for 6. Alongside him, Anquan Boldin Jr. added 14 points with a solid shooting performance of 3 for 6 from the field and was successful on 8 of 9 free throws, along with contributing five rebounds. Ben Michaels also made his mark, finishing the night with 13 points and hitting 6 of 8 from the field.

For the N.C. A&T Aggies, Glasper emerged as the leading scorer with an impressive 29 points and also notched two steals. Additionally, Lamothe made significant contributions with a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while also providing six assists and four steals. Ryan Forrest joined in the scoring effort with 11 points and contributed two steals.

Heading into halftime, both teams were locked in a tie at 43-43, with Sabol playing a key role by scoring 11 points in both halves for the Bulls. This nail-biting contest was a testament to the competitive spirit on display and showcased the resilience of the Buffalo Bulls as they moved their record to 4-3, while the Aggies fell to 3-3.
