A DHL cargo plane experienced a crash early Monday morning in close proximity to Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania.
The Lithuanian airport authority confirmed that this particular aircraft was en route from Leipzig, Germany, to Vilnius Airport at the time of the incident.
The airport authority took to the social media platform X to inform the public that emergency services, including a fire truck, were promptly dispatched to the scene.
As for DHL Group, which is based in Bonn, Germany, there has yet to be a response to requests for comments regarding the crash.
