Conway, S.C. — In an impressive showing, Christian Davis scored 19 points to lead Bradley to an 80-69 triumph over Middle Tennessee, clinching the Myrtle Beach Invitational on Sunday evening.
Davis had an outstanding performance, shooting 6 for 8 from the field, which included a perfect 3 for 3 from beyond the arc, alongside a flawless 4 for 4 from the free throw line. His contributions helped the Braves secure their sixth victory of the season, improving their record to 6-1. Darius Hannah also had a strong game, recording 16 points on 8 of 13 shooting while contributing 13 rebounds and three blocks. Duke Deen added 15 points, making 6 of 13 attempts, including 3 for 9 from three-point territory.
For the Blue Raiders, Chris Loofe was a standout performer, scoring 15 points while also blocking three shots. Essam Mostafa chipped in with 12 points, and Justin Bufford rounded out the scoring with 11 points.
Bradley took control of the game early, seizing the lead with just over 16 minutes remaining in the first half and maintaining it throughout. Deen played a key role in the first half, leading his team with 10 points as Bradley went into halftime with a slight 39-37 advantage. After the break, Bradley extended their lead that started at five points to a commanding 13-point margin, fueled by a 10-2 run that brought the score to 80-67 with only 29 seconds left. Davis showcased his skills further by scoring 16 points in the second half, solidifying the Braves’ victory.
