Vidmanova, a senior athlete aged 21 hailing from the Czech Republic, clinched the women’s title by defeating DJ Bennett of Auburn with a score of 6-3, 6-3. This victory marks a significant milestone for the Bulldogs, as it is their first women’s singles championship since 2010.
