In a recent civil jury ruling in Ireland, mixed martial arts athlete Conor McGregor has been found liable for sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel penthouse following an evening filled with heavy drinking.

The woman, who filed a lawsuit against McGregor, alleges that he “brutally raped and battered” her on December 9, 2018, resulting in severe bruising and ongoing post-traumatic stress disorder.

McGregor, during his testimony in Dublin, denied all accusations, asserting that he never compelled the woman into any act against her will and claimed their encounter was consensual.

The attorney representing the woman emphasized that she has never claimed to be flawless and had only intended to enjoy herself, indicating that what began as a night of fun turned into a traumatic experience.

McGregor also recounted the intense nature of the investigation, expressing that he felt “beyond petrified” while being questioned by officials.
