AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Arne Osojnik contributed significantly to Eastern Michigan’s victory over Oakland, scoring 16 points in a close 68-64 matchup on Thursday night.
Osojnik’s performance included shooting 6 out of 13 from the floor, with a notable 4 of 9 from three-point range, helping the Eagles to improve their record to 3-2. Da’Sean Nelson demonstrated his skills as well, adding 15 points with a shooting accuracy of 6 for 13 from the field, alongside a perfect 3 for 4 from the free-throw line, while also pulling down seven rebounds. Jalin Billingsley provided solid support, hitting 5 of 6 shots to finish the game with 12 points.
On the other side, the Golden Grizzlies, now 1-4 for the season, were spearheaded by Tuburu Niavalurua, who tallied 16 points and managed two steals. D.Q. Cole contributed significantly to the team as well, scoring 12 points and grabbing an impressive 14 rebounds. Additionally, Jayson Woodrich chipped in with nine points and also secured two steals.
