DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — On Thursday night, Sonny Wilson made a significant impact on the court, scoring 21 points to help the Toledo Rockets secure a convincing victory over the Stetson Hatters with a final score of 103-78.

In addition to his scoring, Wilson contributed six assists, showcasing his all-around abilities for Toledo, who improved their record to 4-1. Seth Hubbard performed impressively as well, netting 17 points with an impressive shooting efficiency, making 7 of his 13 attempts from the field, which included 3 for 5 from three-point range. Sam Lewis also had a solid outing, scoring 15 points while shooting 60%, including 3 from 4 behind the arc.

For the Hatters, Josh Massey was the leading scorer with 16 points and collected six rebounds. Mehki chipped in with 14 points and distributed four assists, while Abramo Canka rounded out the effort with 12 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Toledo’s dominance was visible right from the first half, where Hubbard scored 15 points, leading the team to a solid 51-35 advantage at halftime. The Rockets solidified their control in the second half with an explosive 7-0 run, stretching their lead from 20 points to 27. Wilson stood out again in the latter half, adding 12 points to his tally as Toledo cruised to victory.
