CONWAY, S.C. — In a closely contested matchup on Thursday, South Florida emerged victorious over Portland with a final score of 74-68, thanks in part to Kobe Knox’s solid performance, where he contributed 13 points and secured six rebounds for the Bulls (3-2).
Brandon Stroud also played a notable role in the team’s success, scoring 11 points with a shooting record of 4 out of 12 from the field, including one of three attempts from the three-point territory. He added another two points from the free-throw line and matched Knox with six rebounds. Meanwhile, Jamille Reynolds added to the offensive efforts, finishing the game with 10 points, shooting 3 of 6 on field goals, and hitting four out of five free throws.
For the Pilots (2-3), Max Mackinnon stood out, leading the team with 17 points, while also pulling down eight rebounds and assisting five times. Vincent Delano supported the scoring effort with 14 points, and A. Rapp contributed with 11 points and eight rebounds.
